Performing Arts
Bearden High School's performing arts programs have been celebrated for their remarkable quality and award-winning achievements. We are fortunate to have exceptional educators who bring out students' artistic talents and help them create life-long memories and experiences that will serve them well beyond high school.

The Bearden High School Band has established a long-standing tradition of artistic excellence. Bearden's Band program consists of two concert ensembles (Symphonic Band and Concert Band), an award-winning Marching Band, Jazz Band, Chamber Ensembles, Indoor Drumline, Varsity Winter Guard, and JV Winter Guard. Performing at numerous concerts, community events, and competitions each year, the band curriculum focuses on developing students' musicianship, performance skills, and leadership. The program is under the direction of Directors Megan Christian and James Wilson.

The Bearden High School Chorus is directed by Mr. Steven Brown. Our ensembles include these choirs: Bearden Singers, Concert Choir, Bearden Belles, and Bearden Brothers in Song. Our contemporary acappella ensemble is B-Side, and a soprano-alto acapella is known as B-Natural.

Bearden Theatre is a collaborative artistic environment that pushes students out of their comfort zones, off of their screens, and onto the stage. The program builds strong leaders and helps to instill important life skills that students can take into a variety of careers - not just the arts.
