After Friday, December 13, there will be no circulation of books until January. Any books checked out at that time will remain checked out until January 7, 2014. You may return items to the library or pay fines, but checkout services will not be available.
Students will be allowed to check out extra items for over the holidays if they wish so long as they do so before close of the day Friday.

Cazzy’s Corner Grill will donate 8% of your total sale to BHS; you must tell your server you are dining to support BHS. Please pass the word to friends and family. Cazzy’s Grill is located in the Northshore Town Center at 2099 Thunderhead Road, Knoxville.
The Helping Hands Club is selling candy canes for $1 in the West Mall during lunches through Monday, December 16. All proceeds go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. When you purchase one, you will fill out the card with your name, your friends’ name, and a little message to them. Later, Helping Hands will attach a candy cane and deliver it to their class. The BHS Choral and Orchestra department will present their Holiday Concert on Thursday, December 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the BHS Auditorium. Admission is $5 at the door.
Jingle Bell Run is a race raising money and awareness for arthritis and other diseases. If you would like to participate, it is around $30, and the race is Saturday, December 14. We are trying to get a huge group of Bearden students to sign up under Austin Mar’s team “Team Austin”. Please join us!
For those taking the ACT on Saturday, December 14 at BHS, please remember to arrive early with your photo ID and printed admission ticket. Bring #2 pencils—not mechanical pencils.
